Funding During your Doctorate at CGS

Most doctoral students at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences are employed as research assistants at chairs, in departments or in specific research projects. Each year, a limited number of CGS-scholarships is offered to very promising master’s graduates in management, economics and social sciences. Together with our collaboration partners, e.g. the International Max Planck Research Schools IMPRS (IMPRS-SPCE and IMPRS-BeSmart) additonal scholarships are offered. Students who are interested in pursuing the integrated study programme Ms. Economic Research or doctoral students, who are interested in the study programmme Economic Research can apply for the Funding Programme in Economics (CGS-E in cooperation with the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute).
