Jörg Breitung, Board Member

Jörg Breitung received his PhD in 1992 from the University in Hannover and finished his "Habilitation" in 2000 at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. He was Visiting Professor at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and became a Full Professor at the University of Göttingen in 2002. From 2003 to 2014 he was Full Professor of Econometric Methods at the University of Bonn. His research interest are univariate and multivariate time series analysis, forecasting and the analysis of panel data. He is an Associated Editor of Economics Letters, Econometric Journal and Computational Statistics. Furthermore, he is a research consultant of the Deutsche Bundesbank and the DIW, Berlin.
