Research Statement

Located at the intersections of psychology and computer science, my PhD project investigates the effect of online emotions on marketing-relevant metrics. I identify emotions expressed in online conversations and characterize texts on several emotional dimensions, which I then link to stock market performance in a first projects and to participation in a large peer-production community in a second project.
