Research Statement

I am interested in the impact of information communication technology (ICT) on peoples’ attitudes, behavior and their daily life. One specific focus of my research is whether increased transparency and information availability empowers citizens to enforce their interests in the political process. My research is mostly empirically and bridges different areas of politics, sociology and economics.
